The PBA Press Corps has named its Finals Most Valuable Player trophy after Ramon “El Presidente” Fernandez, beginning with the PBA Season 50 Philippine Cup.
Fernandez holds the record for 19 PBA championships and is widely regarded as one of the greatest players in Philippine basketball. The honor recognizes a career that shaped the league and continues to inspire the next generation of athletes.
“I never imagined, yet will forever treasure,” Fernandez said of the recognition.
